Trinova has appointed Mike McCarrick as Head of Asset Management.

McCarrick has joined the team having spent seven years at Workspace, the FTSE 250 flexible workspace REIT, where he was responsible for a £1.3 billion portfolio.

Trinova said McCarrick brings an “exemplary track record of delivering high-value asset re-positioning initiatives as well as a first-class reputation”.

He will be responsible for all commercial assets within the portfolio, valued at circa £1 billion, and the portfolio is expected to grow further this year due to a “strong pipeline of additional acquisitions currently in negotiations”.

Trinova said that with a strong focus on sustainability, it is “targeting best-in-class results in energy efficiency and sustainability across its existing and future assets”.

“As Head of Asset Management, Mike’s experience and vision will be instrumental in identifying ways for Trinova to capture the opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the performance of its assets,” it added.

Andreas Liesche, Partner, said in a statement: “Mike’s appointment to the team concludes an extensive and thorough recruitment process which has yielded a fantastic result. Our goal was to find someone able to inspire and lead the asset management team through the next phase of growth and beyond. We now have the best possible team of experienced professionals to offer our clients a fully-integrated asset, project and property management service all under one roof.

“On reflection, we have emerged from the pandemic stronger and better than ever before. Our focus on ensuring we have the right people, in the right roles, doing the right thing means that we are highly likely to out-perform and set new standards in this ever-changing environment. The future has perhaps never been so uncertain but we see so much opportunity and we are excited by it.”
